This was my first feature prepped and shot on the island of Oahu in Hawaii. It was incredible to work with an eclectic and talented team of pacific islanders from Hawaii, new Zealand, and the surrounding islands. When working on location it’s important to understand the culture and way of life so you can effectively and respectively film your project. Growing up a soccer player the field sets and locker rooms were the most fun to create. But some of the most creative sets we had were turning an old golf club into an airport, and a surf shack into a restaurant bar.
