MONARCH: LEGACY OF MONSTERS

This was my second time filming in Oahu. This series was primarily filmed in Vancouver, Canada but the first 3 episodes primarily took place in the a pacific islands which we filmed in Hawaii. I led a local crew of carpenters, painters, laborers, greens men, vehicles, set decoration, and prop makers to make the key sets for the series. Since I was brought in specifically for these location sets I had the challenge of prepping without the rest of the production team since they were filming other parts in Vancouver. Me and my team needed to have everything ready by the time the crew landed and were ready to film. It was also challenging to have sets all over the island including bamboo forests, cliffside edges, and deserted beaches. With the help of VFX we were able to pull off a variety of tricks to get all the shots we needed.
